Unfortunately the information concerning the particular bacteria in Beeker was not posted (I did not bring it home.) The predominant bacteria was a pseudomonus. A spinal tap was not done and I don't know if this was ruled out, but I have read that pseudomonus can cause meningitis in wildlife...If so, this could account for some of the extreme and varied symptoms Beeker exhibited. Pseudomonus is multi-drug resistant.
