That's a very interesting observation, Marie! I have noticed that our's who get it tend to benefit from having their tails moisturized. (Just watch out when they swing their tails afterward, and use something safe for ingestion like olive oil.) I wonder if their skin becomes more dry after altering. Like with humans I've often encountered drier skin in older ones, too.
