My ferret had his left adrenal out a while ago, went looking for his right
about two months ago (due to his sucking other ferrets' ears) and again the
other day (due to his baldness), but his right one still looks fine. So in
that case, do you remove it anyway, or do you assume that the offending tissue
is ectopic? And if you don't blindly remove the right, does Lupron affect
the ectopic adrenal problems? Will it prevent a urinary blockage from a
swollen prostate gland? Would it behoove me to put him on Lupron? If
so, how long is Lupron good once the bottle has been breached?
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
