Hello. I adopted a kitten last Tuesday from the Humane Society. She is on clavamox for an upper respiratoy infection since we brought her home. She has been quarantined from my ferret for 1 week (tomorrow). When is it *safe* for them to meet. I have researched the internet to only find information regarding the different types of URI and how contagious it is to other cats. Some info says depending on the virus the kitten could always be a shedder of the virus - other info says 48 hours to 7 days... I cannot find a good answer. Does anyone know the proper quarantine time frame?
