Subject: Question about creatinine.

Just back from check up of my 6yo female. Decided to go ahead and have bloodwork done. The only thing that came back abnormal was creatinine 1.0. Her BUN and phosphorus levels were good. Is this level of creatinine anything I should be concerned about. She is other wise a normal, happy, healthy, bouncy ferret. The vet said to bring her back in two weeks and have bloodwork done again and maybe an urinatilysis. The vet said not to worry but renal failure is very scary to me.
I would appreciate any comments.
