I am sorry your ferret is not 100%.
Hind end weakness can be a very non-specific sign in a ferret,
it can be caused by many different illnesses.
Before you jump the gun to lymphoma, it may be something else.
Having a vet just give him a good physical and perhaps a few
blood tests to rule out any treatable causes.
A few things to rule out, insulinoma ( if signs of slowing down,
periods of staring, or drooling, sleeping more, etc.) ,
ADV ( Aleutian Disease Virus), and even Adrenal Disease
if any other symptoms like weight loss, hair loss, or dry skin
or odor changes are also found. I am not a vet, but those three
came to mind before lymphoma would have.
I am not so sure the baby food is the best for him, if you want
to put some weight on him, supplementing him with a meat
baby food is better. OR making him something like Bob Church's
Chicken Gravy- you can get all natural ingredients, free range,
organic chicken, etc to make it with if you like.
Patty
when I got home he suddenly seemed to be more "clumsy"
