I hope you get some responses from someone who is knowledgeable about the
long term effects of Pred, I'm simply giving you my experience. I had a little
guy who was on 10mg Pred for 16 months. We were very lucky in that we had
absolutely now side effects. I was giving it to him in crushed tablet from which I
put in food. I don't know if the fact that he had food in his stomach helped us
to not have the upset stomach side effect, but again, it worked very well for
us and we had no problems.
