Subject: insulinoma question
Message-ID: <001501c389b8$47a48d20$6401a8c0@D7Y35H11>
I was wondering if there is a correlation between a ferret being =
"overweight" and contracting insulinoma? We have a female that
has insulinoma; she is chunky. We lost a male several years back that
developed insulinoma after having some tumors removed from his
pancreas during adrenal surgery; he was chunky. Now we suspect that
Max, another fairly chunky male, may have insulinoma. He is having some
hind leg coordination problems and has been acting a bit tired at times.
I had planned a vet trip/blood test today but it has to be put of to Monda=
y
as the vet is at a conference. =
So, folks, anyone notice a correlation, or is it just coincidence? Any c=
omments would be appreciated. Steve and Becky
