Okay, our vet called; his cell phone batteries had died and he is
away. We now have Ashling on 1 mg twice per day of Prednisolone and
are continuing sugar supplementation until she is checked because it
is not known yet if this dose is high enough. Our vet gets home
tomorrow. She is a touch tired which is no surprise but eating
kibble and baby food soup readily and happily though with a small
amount of nausea still (much less now than earlier). She is alert,
kissy, and normally warm.

It's been a long time since we've had one whose first symptom of any
pancreatic problems has been a large crash and the only one we had
crash so thoroughly had lymphoma rather than insulinoma, so if it
comes down to those two we are hoping for insulinoma, obviously.
We'll know when she gets opened up if that winds up being the course
of action after pre-surgical testing (and it usually it).

Since we got her stabilized poor Steve has had no sleep (and only 2
hours of sleep last night beforehand) and I've had 4 total, so my my
brain is a bit addled today.
