Hi,
I'm going to be flying home in December for Christmas and was hoping to take my ferrets with me, the only problem is that the only airline I can find that will accept the ferrets won't let them ride in the cabin with me, they would have to go in cargo. Their website claims that the cargo cabin is pressurized and at the same temperature as the travel cabin. I'm just wonderng how acceptable this would be to a ferret, if anyone's had any personal experience travelling like this with ferrets. I'm worried about them getting too stressed without someone to comfort them and of course about them freezing to death. I'm in Canada and trying to get to Winnipeg from either Hamilton, Toronto or London and there's pretty much only one airline I've found that I can afford and will let me take them. I haven't looked into trains yet because the trip would be even longe via rail. The flight generally takes 3 to 4 hours.
Thanks,
Terri
