I have a prescription from 1999 in which the vet poured the contents of a 20-mg capsule of prilosec into a pill bottle and wrote, "Give 2 granules by mouth daily." I mixed it in with a treat (either Ferretone or chicken baby food) and my ferrets didn't even know it was there. :-)
