Subject: A little intermittent blood...

I suspect I know the answer to this but....
I have a one year old, neutered male who is otherwise healthy, approximately 3 lbs. The last week or so I've seen a little blood in his stool or urine (hard to tell which). He seems to have no other problems. Stools are a little grainy at times (not bird seed and NOT soft). He eats either Iams kitten chow or Kit-n-Kaboodle cat food (we have a mixed assortment of rescues and some are very fussy).
The "blood" comes and goes. I've seen it 2 or 3 times and then it is gone - then back again - then gone. Truthfully my guess would be it is in his urine, not stool.... is there anything that would, without other symptoms, make a ferret's urine bloody?
