Dear all,
I have been participating of the forum because my ferret is sick.
My ferret Raja, 5 years old, decending from European (and not marshall farms)
has been sick since apr/03
she had an infection and lost weigh in Switzerland (where we lived before
moved to Brazil)
then in BR they found out that she had giardia
we treat hed 30 days with flagyl and almost 40 days of baitril. Giardia is gone
it was found last month that she has Calcium stones in the bladder (ans
according to the vet a very rare stone) we are treating her witha tea and some
stones disappeared.
Now it appeared a sking tumor at her back that bleeds when she scratches.
2 days ago we noticed that her hind legs are week. We make massage and it
gets better she walks and then she has again the weakness.
The vet thinks it can be a spine problem. We are medicating her with anti
inflamatory and citoneurin for neuragic pain. she lost weight, sleep all day.
We don't know what to do. We are really afraid to lose her, please someone
give us a light !!!
