I don't believe mast cell tumor's can cause hind end weakness. But many
things can cause hind end weakness, insulinoma being one of them, and it
is better to rule it out and be positive then not know and your ferret
suffer from bouts of low blood sugar. As for age, I didn't have any
have hind end weakness until they were at least 8 yrs old, so I really
don't think that is it. A heart problem can do that though. Such
loveable critters come with so many medical problems, it is a shame.
Good luck with your little girl and I hope it isn't anything too serious.
