I would suspect a bladder infection. The only symptom you may see initially, besides pink urine, may be frequent urination. One of mine many years ago had lymphosarcoma of the bladder (diagnosed by biopsy) and initially had no symptoms other than bloody urine, but he went downhill pretty quickly after the initial symptoms presented.
