Mike is certainly someone who knows ECE. If I recall right didn't a shelter you managed get hit and you managed to save all of the ferrets?

We had 6 or 7 ferrets when it arrived here and had a hard time figuring out which ones had secondary infections and which had colitis. The approaches differ. Our other problem was that Spot had terrible dehydration and even with sub-cutaneous fluids he had kidney damage which caught up with him in a later year. In his case IV would have made more sense but that was not obvious to anyone till after the fact.

The info from Dr. Williams who first identified the coronavirus was essential for us and luckily
http://www.afip.org/ferrets/ECE/ECE.html
and
http://www.afip.org/ferrets/babyfood.html
are even better now!

I know you said that you read these but others who meet up with ECE or want to learn beforehand will find them useful.
