We are, too!
The work continues, too. Dr.Matti Kiupel in Michigan is trying to find out if it may become possible to have an effective test which is reaadily affordable and if a vaccine may turnout to be possible. It is a very hard problem set.
As a couple who have had ferrets with IBD (and currently have one) -- remembering that we only very rarely heard about IBD before ECE -- Steve and I remain very curious if reducing ECE rates might reduce IBD rates due to avoiding the damage ECE can cause.
