Certainly, biting can happen in a seizure. We know a vet who had a cat seizing for a different reason and the seizure seemed stopped so he was freeing something which had been bitten (Can't recall what.) when a new seizure began with his hand there. All they could do was to wait out the seizure. So, yes, with that sleeping position I can see where that is a possible scenario.

I also want to say thanks for the cutaneous lympho post because it was a useful reminder about lateral thinking and that tends to be useful technique a number of times for ferret health care.
