Hi Monica, I'm new to the group, but your message because your ferrett is having the same sympthoms as a ferret of one of my co-workers. I work for a veterinary hospital and although I can't remeber the name of the disease it has to do with the heart. I know you spent alot of money so far, but ask your vet to do an ultrasound of the heart. If it's the same problem, the heart will be building fluid around it and your ferret will need to be placed on lasix and enacard. The fever can spike as high as 108 and if the ferver is not controlled your baby can burn up. Keep him/her on ice(under towel of course. We also have the ferret on 3 differnt antibiotics.
