It may sound strange but have you checked his heart? How low is the Albumin
and was there significant protein in the urine? If there is protein in the
urine with a low concentration then you might alos consider more specific
lab test for protein. Also how old is he? Usually with the liver the
glucose also starts to get low and you said you don't see that. If the
albumin is low enough he may start developing edema and if it is loss thru
the kidney ther is a heart medication you can use. I don't know what tests
you have sone and which you haven't. Hope you can find the answer.
