I agree, but rule out the fur balls too because they don't eat as well which
can also cause the low blood glucose (the ones they can't pass, that take up
an area of the stomach so they can only eat small meals, and from what I
understand ferrets with furballs can develop all the others secondary to the
fur being there, ie gastric ulcers). I had a ferret that had an undiagnosed
furball, never was clinical for a gastric ulcer, but ended up with a severe
hemorraging ulcer that cost him his life. I like to be sure that nothing is
missed. Insulinoma is common in this age and the signs are consistent but
any cause of a low glucose can lead to these signs. I am just one of those
people that don't want to assume the obvious and indirectly miss something
by doing so. Good luck.
