Hi,
This is my second post i'm not sure what happened with the first one-- but if
someone could please comment I would apreciate it.
I had to put by Baby Bandit to sleep about a month ago-- and it is still to
painful to discuss right now because i miss him terribly.. his baby brother
Fiefal misses him too and I'm considering getting another ferret, I'm afraid
though because when we got Fiefal - Bandit had become very sick was showing
symptoms of ECE and then he had his battles with other illnesses from that point
forward. How do you prevent your ferret at home from catching ECE from a new
kit or older ferret and is there a quarenteen (sp??) period that you should keep
them apart?? Bandit was a Marshall Farm ferret and Fiefal actually came from
a different breeder can't recall the name right now...but Bandit never seem
to be as active as Fiefal and started showing signs of Adrenal at age 3 or 4--
whereas Fiefal will be 3 and knock on wood very very healthy. I would like to
know other breeders other then Marshall Farm who sell ferrets--- I wish I
could remember Fiefal's breeder because I would like to get another one from his
breeder.
