I agree. Be sure to rule out the kidney with blood work since it causes
azotemia which is a toxin in the blood that the kidneys cannot clear it
leads to very bad breath and on the flip side the azotemia can cause gastric
and mouth ulcers so it could be both. If you rule out kidney and conclude
it is ulcer then also be sure there is no furball problem too because often
times this leads to ulcers and I have lost ferrets to a bleeding ulcer which
was secondary to a large fur ball in the stomach. Good luck and tell us
what you learn.
