But I have had it work in ferrets too. The fdur balls never come out in one
big glob thru the tract. Certainly this is not the fisrt choice but if it is
small and not causeing major weiight loss then it is worth trying. Any major
signs need to be addressed immedialtely. I differ the appraoch with rabbits
and ferrets some. Sorry if anyone feels this info is inappropiate but it
does work in some. Others I have seen have lost half thei body weight before
I see them at all and End up needing surgery. THIS IS ALSO NOT FOR general
ferret foreign bodies. Like I said I had an intestinal furball obstruction
in a 10month old that went to surgery too, so something must be done to help
prevent this from occuring. If you disagree I get it, but I know for those
I have needed to do it with they seem to recover beautifully and we reassess
regularly.
