Hi everyone,
I need some information on what meds to use for IBD. My vet and I are researching it, as Bandit's biopsy came back with an IBD diagnosis as with Gadget and Skittles, from an outbreak of ECE many years ago. Right now, they have been prescribed 7 to 10 days of Amoxicillin 2x a day and pepto bismol 2 x a day. Are there meds after the initial antibiotics that can help strong cases of IBD such as Skittles and Gadget that are constantly on and off dexamethesone during flare ups? Are there any other drugs being used that we might have missed?
