Sherman no longer responds to Prednisolone for his IBD so we've been trying Depo-Medrol injections. His first was about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago and he had his second today. His third is scheduled for 3 weeks from now. The control is not perfect for him but it is good and he has really been far happier ever since beginning these, and has begun playing some old games he used to enjoy as well as his more recent games.
In his case we are wondering if it also feels good to his paws, but forgot to ask our vet about that. Although he is only 4 years old Sherman has some arthritis, perhaps related to extreme tick infestation when he was found as a rescued ferret during kithood.
