Sometimes an adrenal gland can overproduce hormones without outside stimulus, and in those cases, Lupron won't help. But I have to ask, what is the dose of Lupron she's getting?
My vet's standard monthly Lupron shot is 150 mcg. While this works in most cases, there have also been cases where a "double dose" was needed. Once the symptoms had subsided, about three months worth, they could back down to the 150 mcg dose and maintain the ferret just fine.
