It was my understanding that Lupron did not work on ferrets with Adrenal
Malignancies. Is it possible that she has that? My own two ferrets both had
right Adrenal malignancies removed. Due to it being attached to the vena cava
all of it could not be removed. Other than the 125mg monthly shot recieved at
surgery neither of them responded to lupron. My 4 pound boy at one point in
time recieved the maximum 200 mg shot every 3 weeks. I saw no
improvememnt even with 3 mg of melatonin daily as well. He is now going on
16 months post surgery. My other little girl only lasted 9 months.

I have seen lupron be very effective in benign adrenal tumors. Just not in
malignant. I also never saw any improvement in skin condition of the
malignant tumors. My experience with fur reqrowth is that the fur comes back
during the shed cycle, not with when they recieve the lupron.
