I would just double check the diagnosis. Yes, ECE can
last a little while, especially in an older ferret.
Can even go into a wasting stage. But the new ferret
did not get the ECE within a few days of introducing
him to the others. I am a little unclear as to what
happened. Has Badger always been separated?

Can you tell us the age of the sick ferret, the history
a little better and in what relation the diarrhea started
to the introduction of the ferrets, etc. What are the symptoms,
like diarrhea ( color, consitency and frequency of stools)
Any weight loss, any pawing at mouth or grinding of teeth?

Was a stool test done, any blood work to rule out other
problems? What else is being done besides the babyfood
feedings? ANd what baby food, how much, and any meds?

Thank you,
Patty
