I would fear he may have a foreign body at that age and the black stools
indicate bleeding in the stomach. See if they can try a barium x ray on
him. it might not nec give an answer if they don't read it right but the
barium may also coat the intenstines stomach esophagus and make him feel a
bit better. Have they done x rays? Talk to the plave you got him from, if
they are reputable and you haven't had him long and it is ECE they may help
out. I would try antibiotics, carafate, sometimes the pepto helps (even
though it is out of vogue for many vets, I still use it). He is young
enough that I wouldn't want to miss anything. Good Luck.
