I am currently checking into the melatonin implants. Someone else found the
company who manufactures them, Neo Dynamics. They are closed until next
Monday, the 10th, so I will call them then. A question that I have is whether
the AVID microchip implant devices and needles can be used. I believe it is the
same size needle, 12ga. If so, I have found the AVID implant device and
needles cheaper than the ones this company sells, even considering separate
chipping charges. I want to ask them specifically before I order.

The melatonin implants are sold in packages of 100 for $65, so I also want to
to know how long they last. I have several ferrets that I want to implant but it
would take a long time to use 100 of them. LOL

I have tried the daily melatonin but have difficulty giving it at the right time. I
think the time-released implant is the way to go.
