Both of my ferrets have an upper respiratory infection. They are on amoxi (.25 ml twice per day). Bailey is showing some improvement, but Yogi is very lethargic, won't eat on his own, is very congested and is breathing thru his mouth. He is two years old and otherwise very healthy. I am very worried about him. My vet says it takes time to get over this, but Yogi isn't showing any signs of improvement. Any suggestions are very welcome. I have also been giving him small amounts of Childrens Benedryl Allergy/Sinus medicine which seems to help a little for awhile.
Thanks!
Barb, Yogi, & Bailey (and the cat who got us all sick)
