I am soo sooo sorry for your loss, it is always hard but when they are so
young you have many more questions. I would love to know if your vet had a
chance to examine him (do an autopsy) since I think everyone including
forself would benefit from it. I know you will miss him, but remember he
came to you for a reason and even though his life was short you gave him
everything you possibly could to make him happy and when the time came, your
final act of love was to help him out of pain. I know it is hard no matter
what, but he is still with you, probably smiling down saying "don't be sad
mommy, I am okay, and one day we will be together again". God must have had
a reason to take him so young, and what better hands could he be in right
now then God's. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

With great saddness and sympathy in your loss.

Dr. Sue
