Hi,

Just a quick thanks to group members for helping me out with
my ECE question. Recently i discovered a black little spot- not embedded in
the skin but whatever it is it is attached to the surface-- it is between
Fiefals's foot pad-- i tried tugging at it- worried it might be a tick-- and even
tried with the tweezers-- it seemed to cause him discomfort so i stopped-- i
noticed when i tugged on it a little piece lifted and on where it was rooted u
could see a white mark (scab)?? i don't know. Do ferrets get moles?? and how
do you know it's not a tick...i really am not thinking it is--i have seen them
once before on my cat--and it doesn't look anything like it.

Thanks.

Christina

Hi folks. I got a flu shot last week, got sick and made most of my
ferrets sick (my rugs are a mess!). Anyway my oldest, Critter has me
worried. He's 7 1/2 years old. He stopped vomiting but his digestion
seems overly fast and he has diarrhea. I've been giving him Pepto Bismol
and Amoxicillian but it's going right through him. This morning he
literally pooped out Pepto Bismol. Does anyone have any suggestions on
what else may help? I've been assist feeding Nutrical diluted with water
to keep him hydrated and make sure he's getting some nutrients, duck soup
only makes him vomit.
