Just a quick addition to the Sniffles update after speaking with my vet today.

The bone marrow transplant is definitely working. She explained to me that Sniffs was coming in with a PCV of about 7%, and that transfusing him with 20-30 cc's of blood would only have raised it to 17-22% (it is a ratio of, I believe she said, 1 point for every two cc's of blood). So at 34% PCV a month after his last transfusion he is definitely producing his own red cells again.

He's gotten the go ahead for his adrenal surgery, and will be kept on Lupron for the duration.

Oh, and last time I forgot to mention that he had also been on Dexamethasone, but is off it now.

So keep those paws crossed!
