I am actually one of the few people who has actually had a ferret with Mycobacterium Avian.
Rhett actually did quite well on antibiotics and lived almost a year beyond his diagnosis (at which time he was so ill he had to be resucitated several times), but the most important thing for this discussion is that none of my other numerous ferrets ever got it. I would not be concerned about your other ferrets.
