The reason I am reasonably sure it's the lasix is that is occuring every day, and the other 2 meds are on alternate days. If it was one of those I would expect the day he didn't take them to have at least a small improvement

Oh yes:major teeth grinding,head shaking and refusing to eat even his beloved Nuti Stat. He's lost about a pound in the last week (he's a big guy, about 4 lbs).

No real improvement with the injectible. He got so bad last night I actually had to stop any Lasix and give him fluids because he was dehydrated from not drinking. I also broke out the Pepto which fortunately has stopped the diarrhea and made his tummy feel better enough that he wants to eat about 1/2 hour after I make him take it....we are both looking rather PINK.

Thanks Dr Murray.Things have obviously gotten to the point where his wonderful vet is getting a call tomorrow morning.
If anyone has had any experience with diuretics other than Lasix I would appreciate hearing about them.
Thanks all, and please cross your paws for us. Phil came in as a rescue 8 years ago, and is a very special guy. One of the smartest ferrets I've ever had, and a fantastic personality. He's never met another ferret he didn't like. When I used to have to have my ferrets out in 2 groups because they were fighting he was the only one who stayed out with both groups.
So send positive vibes please!
