As some know we've been trying Depo shots for Sherman for his IBD. The
first two were 2 and 1/2 weeks apart and he is now having them every 3
weeks. Each week his stools are a bit better. They are now at the
point of being oatmeal like but with some cylindrical form. He is
obviously not hurting now and we're all happy about his improvement.
When Pred stopped working for him we decided to try this instead of
Imuran since Imuran is a harsher med. It's an option to recall if you
have a ferret with IBD. We inject him ourselves; he's easy that way
(unlike sweet sick Ashling who we hope doesn't really have carcinoma
and who has always had skin so thick that she has even bent needles).
