Yes, "depo" was pronounced around me with a soft "e" as "dep-oh" rather than being pronounced like depot "dE-poh", and our vet has used it in a way which leads me to think that it is a shortcut way to refer to Depo-Medrol, just as one would say "Pred" for Prenisolone or Prednisone, but that is JUST an impression about the way the word is used, so I could be wrong, of course. It IS spelled as "depo" and not as "depot" in the receipt.
