My personal preference is prednisolone because it saves a step in the body.
It gets to work quicker then Prednisone, because as someone told you before
Prednisone is converted to prednisolone in the liver and if there may be any
problem with the liver it may not work as well. I am still not sure what
the mg/ml concentration is based on your wording. It seems you are saying
that you used a dose of 1.7 mg on your ferret, so the question is what is
the mg/ml concentratjion and what is your ferrets weight so that an accurate
dose can be calculated. Hope this helps.
