You mentioned Lupron. Ferrets with adrenal neoplasia have increased risks of UTIs, of vaginal infections (female), of prostate problems (male), of anemia, of unusual fat depositions, of mammary hyperplasia, etc. The list goes on.

Is the ferret not a surgicval candidate for removing the adrenal?

Years ago we had one female with adrenal neoplasia whose ONLY sign of it was repeated UTIs and vaginal infections. (In fact, her last one was so bad that her vagina prolapsed a bit.) Got that adrenal out and she was right as rain.
