On Thanksgiving we noticed that our boy George had a couple lumps on him. =
One near his shoulder, one on his back, and one on his neck. Of course thi=
s concerned me and I was trying to figure out what they could be. Maybe sp=
ider bites? Maybe bites from another ferret? Then I thought maybe mast ce=
ll tumors, but they don't really feel like the mast cell tumors that I've s=
een and felt before. These are larger (but maybe because they're on a larg=
er ferret?) and harder. And since Thursday there are more of them and the =
previous ones have grown in size. I'm going to try to get an appointment s=
et up today, but I just thought I'd ask everyone's opinion on what this mig=
ht be and what would be the best way to treat it. I also want to note that=
George is active, eats, drinks, voids...everything is on the up and up exc=
ept for these lumps showing up.
