Angoras are "purported" to be not so prone to tumors and such (a big selling
point), but finding health information on them is difficult. What are you
basing your opening statement on? I would really like to find what you've
read regarding angoras.
I've had three angoras (two of which have died) and seven regular ferrets
and I have to say that IMHO the angoras are cooler. So far, in my brief
experience with them (5 years), they are NOT less susceptible to problems.

> Angoras are enough prone to malformations of the skull and nostrils from
what I have read that it doesn't make sense to breed them. Just like
breeding a ferret with a neural crest disorder (a white headed one or white
head-blazed one, for instance) this is playing with dynamite in a way which
might cause suffering.
