Okay, first off, ferrets don't get colds. (See past info from veterinary pathologist, Dr. Bruce Willaims.)
They DO get influenza, they DO get bacterial sinus infections, and they Do get pneumonia.
What concerns me also is that canine distemper can cause syptoms which look in part like a bad cold. Has this ferret already seen a vet? Are you taking precautions for your other ferrets?
I'd contact your vet ASAP and run this ferret in for a check-up.
