Hi, Sukie, and everyone else,

I'll discuss that possibility with our regular vet when Podo sees him
tomorrow. Right now Podo still has intermittent periods when the leg
goes straight out and he has no ability to move it. Then he pulls it
under him and he's fine for a while.

Podo has no history of heart problems or kidney disease so far as we
know. He's nine so just about anything could have developed at this
point. In a discussion last week our vet told us he felt pretty sure
the age we have for Kodo and Podo is correct. He said they *might* see
ten, but he wasn't exactly optimistic about it, I get the idea that
Podo is old enough that almost anything (and everything) could be
breaking down.

I'll post again when I actually know something.

All the best,
Caity and the amazing eight
