Sukie asked me to provide some more information about Baby. She is 7 1/2
years old. As far as we know, she didn't have a fever. She didn't feel ho=
t
and I don't think my vet took her temperature. No culture has been done. =

What should have been cultured? Would it be too late to ask the lab to do
one? =

The lump appeared within 12 hours, Wednesday morning (a week ago) I didn't
notice anything and Baby was running and playing as usual. By the evening
it was quite big and interfered with her walking and Thursday morning it wa=
s
even bigger. =

Wednesday night she was off her food, Thursday she refused to eat at all. =

After the operation she also didn't eat for a day and looked nauseous so sh=
e
had an anti-sickness drug and B-12 shot and then was put on a liquid
convalescent diet which she ate well and has been eating since and is back
on her usual food.
