Hi, Jen, and everyone else,

We haven't used heating pads for fear of fire, overheating the little
weasels, etc... We give lots of soft bedding (blankets, soft towels) for
them to burrow into and try to keep the recovery cage in a warm place.
We've dealt with a few difficult recoveries, including Addisonian symptoms
where Pertwee or Ryo-Ohki had a hard time regulating their body temps. We
felt that lots of blankets and insulation was adequate.

Of course, YMMV.
