P.S. Certainly others will find other ways to write subject lines which have just as good a chance of being more specific and which also get attention. My examples given of ways to avoid this porblem where multiple members with entirely different questions get lumped together due to using a common subject line are just suggestions and are not rules nor should they be treated as rules. It really DOES help to avoid a general subject line which says nothing specific, though, no matter what way you do it as long as it is decent, on-topic, and helps you get the info your ferrets need.

Actually, if members read the rules you'll all find that not only do they have a few things which can't be done but they contain a lot of guidelines which help get replies and which help avoid accidental errors. The rules can be found at
http://www.smartgroups.com/vault/ferrethealth/fhl_rules.txt
and were desigined with helping FHL members and vets as the primary criteria.
