We have seen vestibular disease several times in older ferrets at Ferret
Wise. Once form a blunt trama due to a ferret fight, the second from an
inner ear infection. Both ferrets presented with head tilting over 2-3
days and then circular walking etc. The blunt trauma ferret had ear
discharge on day 3.
Both responded to anitibiotic therapies. Perhaps you can have the vet
consider these options?
