Hi, Liz,

In each of our bilateral ferrets our vet has had to use a combination of
prednisone (or decamethasone) and fludrocortisone (florinef). Has your
vet checked electrolyte levels? It sounds like her electrolytes are out
of balance and she is having Addisonian Symptoms. Things could get
*much* worse if the electrolytes go too far out of balance.

I would take her back to the vet and discuss it with him or her.

I am not a vet, but I have been where you are and it's tough on both
ferret and owner.

All the best,
Caity and the exuberant eight
